MASST Workshop

In April 2026, IHMC Senior Research Scientist Jeffrey Bradshaw organized the second Multi-Agent System Safety and Teamwork initiative (MASST) workshop.  Jeff helped pioneer the research areas of multi-agent systems and human-agent-robot teamwork, and his first book on the topic, Software Agents, became a classic in the field and a best-seller for The MIT Press. The first MASST workshop was held in London in November 2025, with research colleagues from around the world.  Building on the success of this initiative, Jeff collaborated with IHMC and NCCA colleagues to organize the second MASST workshop, which was integrated as part of the AAAI 2026 Spring Symposium in San Francisco California.
